Founded in 1994 by artist and educator Elham Ahmadi, Mahan Art School has been a creative home for thousands of students. Elham Ahmadi is a Persian-Australian visual artist and educator based in Sydney, with over 30 years of experience in the art world. Our mission is to inspire, teach, and guide people of all ages to explore their creativity, refine their skills, and build confidence through art.
Our founder, Elham Ahmadi, is not only a lifelong educator but also a practicing artist. Elham holds a Fine Arts degree from Sepehr Art University in Iran and both a Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts from the National Art School in Sydney. Her vision is to blend academic excellence with creative freedom, ensuring every student receives both professional guidance and the joy of artistic discovery.
With a team of professional artists and teachers, we provide high-quality training in drawing, painting, calligraphy, sculpture, digital art, and more. Beyond technical skills, we foster a calm and supportive environment where creativity thrives. Self-expression is encouraged, and every student’s unique potential can shine.
At Mahan Art School, art is not just about learning techniques — it’s about growth, confidence, and the joy of creating.
